What Does an Internship Offer a Student? The internship program provides opportunities for information science students to obtain credit for degree-related, paid work experience. Participants in the program have enjoyed such benefits as working with IS professionals and information system end users, learning job-hunting, interview, and resume-writing techniques, and gaining valuable contacts for future jobs.
